Greetings all,
On this day we commemorate with joy the birth of Emperor Manuel I Komnenos, on November 28th in 1118 AD:
His reign was the last flowering of the Komnenian
restoration. Manuel I was the last Byzantine ruler to attempt regaining
territories in the West and in Egypt.
There should be cake! :)
