On this Day we commemorate with sadness the passing of the Empress Gallia Placidia on November 27th in 450 AD:
Gallia Placidia was the daughter of Emperor Theodosius I, Regent for
Valentinian III, Queen Consort to Ataulf, king of the Visigoths, and
briefly Empress Consort to Emperor Constantius III. She was also a younger paternal half-sister to the Emperors Arcadius and Honorious.
